A high-quality building can have a positive impact on health and wellbeing and we use layout, daylight, finishes, fittings and building services to provide a vibrant, welcoming and comfortable environment for staff, residents, visitors and other users. Security, access, way finding, circulation & waiting spaces are key factors with interior layouts designed to provide appropriate privacy levels, especially in public areas. The integration of external works and landscaping ensures these areas can play an active part in the therapeutic model where relevant. We respect the sensitivities involved and consider not only obligatory design features but also look at best practice and relevant sector research to deliver the best possible solutions.
