The proposals were planned in collaboration with Walsall Council’s Planning and Conservation Departments and comprises a mix of one and two bedroomed apartments within the four storey brick and terracotta Victorian building which forms an integral part of the Leicester Street frontage in the Centre of Walsall.

Key Principles included the retention of the important internal features such as decorative plasterwork, mouldings and joinery detailing and the retention and restoration of the principle brick and terracotta frontage onto Leicester Street and retain the historic fabric and character of the important listed building in the heart of Walsall.

The works were successfully completed and the occupied building provides strategically important residential accommodation in the heart of the town centre.
