The Old Library as one of the most important buildings in Stourbridge town centre, has recently undergone a comprehensive and extensive refurbishment. The former Stourbridge Design and Technical College is once more a ‘living space’ having stood vacant for two years.
The Grade II fabric of the building has been renovated and sympathetically restored in close collaboration with the local authority’s planning and conservation department. Whilst original materials and features have been retained, the internal spaces have been transformed and enhanced by sensitive interior design and modern insertions to create an open plan, contemporary office environment.
