The scheme comprises 50 contemporary apartments ranging from studios to two bed units and is located in Birmingham City Centre. The converted building contains 38 of the apartments and the two newbuild blocks the remaining 12. The design of the scheme was carefully considered to retain significant original features as evidenced in the photographs below.
In order to respond to the existing building fabric with appropriate sensitivity, mezzanine levels and double height spaces have been introduced to the top storey. A landscaped central courtyard is provided for the benefit of residents, with secure car and motorcycle parking for a number of the apartments.
